Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: 1 June 2026
Sure Boost respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, and how we respond. We act in accordance with applicable copyright law — including the Nigeria Copyright Act 2022 and, where relevant to our hosting and third-party providers, the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) — as well as equivalent laws in other African countries. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Reporting infringement
If you believe material made available through the Services infringes your rights, send a written notice to support@sureboostapp.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice" containing:
- Your name, address, email, and telephone number;
- Identification of the copyrighted work or right you claim is infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (e.g. URLs, order or listing references);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Our response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, cancel related orders or listings, and notify the affected user. We may forward your notice (including your contact details) to that user.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to support@sureboostapp.com including: your contact details; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to jurisdiction as required by applicable law; and your signature. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue legal action within the period required by applicable law.
4. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
5. Misuse
Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages. Submit reports in good faith only.
6. Contact
Send all intellectual-property notices to support@sureboostapp.com, addressed to the Sure Boost Legal/Compliance team.
